
Theodore Konstadinides moved to England in 1996. He studied at Kent and London and he is currently working as Senior Lecturer at the School of Law, University of Surrey with a focus on EU law. In particular, his research coheres around European constitutional law and EU external relations. He has taught at the universities of Stockholm, Uppsala, Amsterdam and London and has acted as consultant for the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office on external policy and security matters. He is currently writing his second monograph on the utility of the notion of the rule of law in EU law. When he is not researching he likes going to the cinema, catching up with his friends and playing with his son Nicholas who doesn’t allow him much time for hobbies. Theodore is the author of T Dyson and T Konstadinides European Defence Cooperation in EU Law and IR Theory (Palgrave, 2013).
